Hello!

I turned 30 this year, and I figured it's decent time to write about life, food, books, travel and robots.

My tone will be a bit dry until I get used to writing here. Thanks for hanging with me.

At this time you will only find me on this website, LinkedIn and GitHub.

Coffee

It's Sunday. I am currently sitting Summit Coffee at Emory Village typing this. I recommend their coffee and good seating for working or reading.

Atlanta

I live in Atlanta, a city in the forest 🌳. Atl has beautiful trees and rains way too much. However, it's been home for more than a decade and I enjoy being here.

Work

I am a robotics engineer at Hello Robot.

I enjoy working with Charlie Kemp, an incredible engineer and expert roboticist. He has incredible insights on how robots should interact with humans.

We recently launched Stretch 4, a fun robot! It's brutally simple: 5 degrees of freedom arm (2 prismatic, 3 revolute), and a holonomic base. Has three rgb cameras and two hemispherical lidars that can see the entire room and the humans the robot interacts with. It's awesome being able to

In the last year, I worked mainly on perception (RGBD), general UX, and simulations in Google Deepmind's Mujoco.
